How to do Weighing?

Weighing yourself on a regular basis can help you lose more weight—without obsessing over the number. Measuring weight during weight loss period can be very exciting at the same time dissapointing if you are not getting results as expected.

It is a very easy habit to master- Get up, go to the bathroom, step on the scale. Pretty simple.

BMI is the standard measurement to know where you stand in terms of your weight. BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measurement of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 years.

BMI can be used to indicate if you are overweight, obese, underweight or normal. A healthy BMI score is between 20 and 25. A score below 20 indicates that you may be underweight; a value above 25 indicates that you may be overweight.

Number in the scale doesnt distinguishes - The scale does matter because it is a very simple measurement to take and understand. But it is not perfect and doesn’t distinguish between water, fat, muscle, or brain cells gained or lost. Women can drop two jean sizes without the scale budging. This is why the scale shouldn’t be your only measure (girth measurements are also key and perfect to use in conjunction with your scale weight).

Pattern of weight lost during consultation - The most rapid weight lost will be during the first phase where the toxin waste and detox is at the fastest rate. As the toxin amount reduces and fat is lost at a constant rate. Most of the time I concentrate on clients for not loosing much muscle weight after fat percentage is reduced well. In these cases, weight seems to get slow but steady loosing during the thrid phase.

Tip:

Here’s how to do it:

  • Always check weight only in the morning.

  • Check your weight after your morning exercise before breakfast.

  • Weigh yourself without clothes or with inners only to get an accurate result.

  • Never check weight multiple times in a day, this will make you confused.

  • Weighing balance should be digital to give you results in grams lost.
